Semra Hunter

The multilingual presenter and internationally known face of La Liga TV

Semra began her sports broadcasting career in 2013 as a multilingual sideline reporter for Al-Jazeera Sport and BeIN SPORTS in Madrid, Spain.

Between 2013 and 2016 she worked for Real Madrid TV hosting studio shows The Match, Extra Time and Real Madrid Life in both English and Spanish while also covering games and conducting weekly interviews with Real Madrid players and coaches.

In 2016 she moved to Istanbul, Turkey as Sports Anchor and Correspondent for the launch of broadcast network, TRT World working on the daily sports show, Beyond The Game. She continued to work for the network after moving back to Spain, working as a pitch side reporter, providing live pre-match and post-match coverage of Champions League matches.

Since April 2018 Semra has been one of the lead presenters for LaLiga TV, hosting live game coverage and daily magazine shows.

She was part of the presentation team for DAZN’s 2022 Uefa Women’s Champions League final in Turin and lead presenter for the 2023 final in Eindhoven.

Semra is now the face of Spanish football on UK TV for Sky Sports News and the host of La Liga on ITV.

She hosted the live coverage of the 2022 Fifa World Cup for Sports 18 and JioCinema in India.

Semra is a corporate host delivering events for the World Football Summit and Mastercard.

She is also an accomplished Esports host working for Konami, the PES League and the eFootball Championship Pro.
